Cork Yoga Range

Our cork yoga mat is super easy to clean. We recommend using our essential oil sprays because they have fantastic anti-bacterial properties and will thoroughly clean your mat leaving it smelling amazingly fresh. You can also use soapy water or any natural cleaner. To clean, just spray your mat and use a cloth to wipe down. If you're after a deeper clean, you can fill a bowl with warm water and wash your mat with a gentle cloth or soft brush. Don't put your mat in the washing machine. You can drape it over a chair or clothes horse to air dry.

Yes, our yoga mat is dual sided. You can use the cork side for a smoother natural feel or the rubber side for an ultra grip.

Yoga blocks are an essential prop for yogis at all levels. We recommend you having two yoga blocks to give you the support you need throughout your practice and allow you to perform a wider range of poses to better your flexibility as well as assist with jump throughs and inversions. You can purchase the yoga block duo and save!

Cork yoga mats have a beautiful natural feel with enough grip for your practice and enough smoothness to allow for poses like forward and side splits. Cork yoga mats can feel a little slippery if you have very dry hands. If that's the case, we recommend you spritz your mat with our essential oil sprays to activate the suberin in the cork - which is a naturally occurring waxy substance. When the suberin is activated, the grip will enhance and become very grippy. The great thing about a cork yoga mat is that as you generate heat throughout your practice and become sweaty, your grip will enhance rather than slip. You can also use the rubber side of the mat for an ultra grippy option or in those cold winter months when you want to leave your socks on!

Cork is an amazing resource and completely sustainable which is why we've used it throughout our Cork Yoga Range. You actually don't need to cut down any trees to harvest cork as the cork is in the bark of the tree. The bark regenerates and can be harvested over and over again. Cork can be recycled and ground down to be made into other products. We use 100% compressed cork for our massage balls and yoga blocks and our mats use cork leather that is heat laminated to a rubber base without the use of toxic glues or chemicals. You can read more about Why We Choose Cork here.

The lines on our yoga mat are there to keep your hands and feet aligned. Correct yoga technique involves precision and our guidelines are there to give you that precision in your practice.

Our ZONE yoga mat is larger than your average yoga mat. It is 183cm x 68cm x 3.5mm thickness.

Cork has some amazing properties and one of them is that it's naturally antimicrobial which means that it suppresses the growth of micro-organisms such as mould or bacteria. Because most allergies are caused by particles found in mould, dust and dirt, cork products are also naturally non-allergenic, because the microbes can’t enter the cells and it doesn’t absorb dust and dirt.

Yep, there’s a reason for why cork is used in our wine bottles!

Massage balls are a very handy tool to have in your recovery bag. They give you the ability to self massage and release areas of tension in muscle and fascia. Our cork massage balls come in two sizes which are both included in your set. There is a 6cm massage ball to target areas like hip flexor muscles, glutes, neck, and plantar fascia (the base of your foot). We also have an 8cm massage ball to target larger muscle groups and areas like quads, IT band, hamstrings, calves, shoulder blades and back muscles.

Cork is really easy to clean. We recommend using our essential oil sprays with a clean cloth or any natural based cleaner. For a deeper clean, use a bowl of warm soapy water and a soft brush. Air dry over a chair or a clothes horse.

Hemp Clothing

We source our clothing from Hemp Fortex who share our values on creating sustainable fabrics that are of premium quality. The are based in China and manage the whole supply chain from growing hemp in their own fields, to fibres, to spinning yarn and creating fabrics and lastly garments. Whilst we would love to be able to do this in Australia, and the industrial hemp industry is on the rise, we don’t have the infrastructure to spin the fibre into yarn yet, so until this happens, we will still need to source our hemp fabric offshore.

To learn more about Hemp Fortex and their certification ie: GOTS, Fair Wear, Eco Cert etc, head to their website

Hemp is a super fibre for so many reasons and one of the worlds best CO2 sequester. To learn about why we use hemp and its benefits to people and planet, click here.

Learning about the benefits of hemp and knowing that the fashion industry is one of the biggest polluters is what inspired this range. All the garments have been designed by Lydia (who is not a fashion designer) and are based on the everyday essentials she trains, works and lives in! By showcasing how great hemp fabric is will hopefully inspire the fashion industry to use more hemp and consumers to choose labels that use hemp fabric.

Yes we do. The size guide is available on every product page of our hemp clothing range.

Our clothes are made from hemp and organic cotton. Hemp is naturally organic as it requires no pesticides or fertilisers to grow.

Hemp is extremely durable and actually an ancient textile. It has been used for centuries to make all kind of products like rope, ship sails, textiles and building materials. It is naturally UV resistance and 8-times stronger than cotton. It actually gets softer with use and is naturally antibacterial which makes it a great fabric for people with sensitive skin and allergies.

Yes hemp is a better choice than cotton for a lot of reasons. The hemp plant provides nutritious seeds as well as fibre that can be used for a variety of products. Hemp fibre is 8-times stronger than cotton and uses less water to grow and process. Hemp absorbs 4-times more CO2 than trees and feed nutrients back into the soil. Hemp is also UV resistant antibacterial making it a great choice for people with sensitive skin and allergies. Read more about Why We Choose Hemp here.

Hemp fabric is an amazing super-fibre. It is natural, durable, strong, yet soft and comfortable. Our garments are made to stand the test of time. We have been vigorously putting them through their paces and basically doing everything you shouldn’t do to your clothing… like repeatedly machine washing on hot cycles and throwing them into the dryer [cringe!] Amazingly resilient, these test garments have bounced back over and over again to their original form.

Whilst that is great to know, we want you to prolong your garment’s life cycle as much as possible. To do that, we recommend you try to follow these care instructions:

Wash the garment inside out to protect the print. Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle. Wash with like colours. Do not bleach it or soak. Do not use fabric softener - the fabric is soft enough! Try not to tumble dry and dry straight after washing with print opened flat. Use a cool iron (if needed). Do not iron over the print. Do not dry clean.

Essential Oils and Sprays

Our essential oils are proudly grown and made in Australia. We have really enjoyed getting to know our growers of these unique essential oils from all over Australia.

Each essential oils blend has been designed by Lydia herself who has always had a fascination with essential oils and has used them for many years to assist in her own recovery, focus, mood and general wellness.

A trip to the Australian outback inspired this range. Whilst there, Lydia had a realisation that Australia has an abundance of unique Australian botanicals with amazing benefits - many of which are relatively unknown. She then was inspired to learn more and researched the uses, origins and benefits of Australian essential oils to develop her own unique blends that specifically help to cleanse, focus and breathe.

Yes. Our essential oils are 100% pure and derived from Australian only botanicals.

Essential oils can be used in a variety of ways.

To use, you can place a few drops in an oil burner or vaporiser or add a small drop on pulse points before practice or as a perfume. You can also add a few drops to your laundry wash, iron, bath, sauna and your mop bucket!

No we don't recommend consuming our essential oils.

Each essential oil arrives in a beautiful 10ml glass dropper bottle and our sprays arrive in a 250ml glass spray bottle. They are protected in a ship ready tube/carton making it the perfect gift for yourself or a lucky friend or family member.
